Futbol–Salem

This week we had a 3 day weekend. We’ll have another one next week. Wednesday was the celebration for the patron saint of the small town where the school is located. Instead of giving students Wednesday off, we got today (Monday) off instead. It was a little hard to teach on Wednesday with all of the fireworks going off, but we made it! So what else would we do on Sunday of a 3-day weekend than go into town to watch Barcelona play Madrid in futbol. Barcelona and Madrid are huge rivals, so there were tons of people watching the game. We tried to go to Monoloco (our favorite place to watch sports), but it was packed. We settled on a place called Canoa. Before the game, Loren even bought us jerseys. We were the real deal. The game ended in a tie, but they are playing again on Wednesday, so we’ll see how that goes.

After the game, Loren had to stop by Yellow House. We all waited in the car and the boys wanted me to take pictures of them.

And then, because they couldn’t get enough futbol, Allison and Loren played FIFA. I’ll let you guess who won.
